AI Solutions Engineer -
Architecture Pathway
CEADE helps organisations turn complexity into clarity, and ideas into working systems.
Our ethos is inspired by the idea of a seed: every organisation holds unrealised possibilities. We help that possibility grow through strategic thinking, solution architecture, software engineering, business understanding, and the responsible use of AI.
This role is for a capable software engineer who already has real technical grounding and wants to grow into solution architecture. You may have built web apps, APIs, integrations, internal tools, cloud services, data workflows, or product features. You may already be trusted to own implementation work. What you may not yet have had is the chance to sit closer to the problem: to help shape the solution, understand the client context, reason about architecture, and learn how technical decisions are made.
This is a growth role for someone who can already code, debug, learn independently, and work inside real systems - but who wants to become broader, sharper, and more architecturally capable.
The role
You will work with the co-founder and senior technical people on SnapInsight, client solutions, and AI-assisted delivery methods.
You will still build software. You will also learn to think upstream from the code: what problem are we solving, what data matters, what should be deterministic, what should be AI-assisted, what risks exist, what should be tested, and what is the smallest, useful version we can safely deliver?
The aim is not to keep you in a narrow implementation lane. The aim is to help the right person grow from strong engineer into solution-minded technical leader over time.
What you will do
Build and improve production-quality features across product and client work.
Work across parts of the SnapInsight and client-project stack.
Help turn requirements, specs, and architecture notes into buildable delivery slices.
Use AI tools carefully, then verify the result through reading, testing, and reasoning.
Investigate bugs, integration issues, data issues, and AI-output quality.
Write concise technical notes so others can understand your thinking.
Contribute to solution discussions with increasing independence.
What you will bring
You do not need to know the whole CEADE stack. You do need to be a capable developer already.
You should be able to:
Build, debug, and maintain working software in at least one modern language such as C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Understand APIs, databases, web applications, authentication concepts, Git, testing, errors, logs, and deployment basics.
Work in an existing codebase without needing every line explained.
Own moderately scoped implementation tasks with guidance and review.
Explain technical decisions, trade-offs, failures, and what you would improve.
Use AI coding tools without assuming they are correct.
Experience with Azure, .NET, React, TypeScript, Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, Microsoft 365, document processing, or AI/RAG concepts is helpful. We do not expect one person to be advanced in all of them.
The Mindset we want
You are probably a strong fit if:
You should be able to:
You are confident enough to contribute, humble enough to keep learning.
You like coding, but you also want to understand why the system should exist.
You are ready to move closer to architecture, discovery, and solution design.
You want feedback because it makes your work sharper.
You can form a view, have it tested, improve it, and keep moving.
You are excited by AI, but care about evidence, tests, sources, security, and trust.
You want autonomy, but you do not confuse autonomy with being left alone.
Technology is changing quickly. We do not expect anyone to know everything. We do expect people to learn quickly, reason carefully, and stay accountable for what they deliver.
You may love this role if
You are a capable developer who wants to become more than a ticket-taker.
You want to learn solution architecture through real product and client work, not just courses or diagrams.
You want to work close to people making technical and business decisions.
You like variety, direct feedback, meaningful responsibility, and practical problem-solving.
You want to use AI as an accelerator while still being responsible for quality.
The role
We will look at how you think, build, communicate, and learn.
The process will be practical and respectful: an initial conversation, a structured technical discussion, and possibly a short work sample or guided task. Any work sample will be time-boxed, use synthetic material, and will not be used commercially.
You may use AI tools, but we will ask how you used them, what you checked, and what you did not trust. We may ask you to walk through work you have built, explain how you debug unfamiliar systems, or write a short implementation note for a small feature.
The best fit will be technically grounded, curious, coachable, independent in thought, careful with quality, and genuinely excited by the chance to grow toward solution architecture inside real product and client work.
