About You

You are a senior developer or technical lead with around 4 to 5 years’ experience in a senior technical role, who is ready to step into a solution architect position.

You are comfortable with ambiguity and can bring structure to complex or unclear problems. You can speak with business stakeholders, understand what they are trying to achieve, and translate that into a solution technical teams can deliver.

You are practical, commercially aware and outcome focused. You do not over-engineer for the sake of it, but you also know when quality and scalability matter.

You are likely someone who:

  • Can move confidently between business problems, architecture decisions and implementation detail.

  • Makes sensible trade-offs between speed, cost, complexity, risk and long-term value.

  • Can influence, guide and advise clients, senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

  • Is comfortable using AI tools, coding tools and modern delivery practices to improve how solutions are shaped and delivered.

Can see the future a little differently, think creatively about what is possible while still designing solutions that are scalable, useable and achievable.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, Solution Designer, Solutions Architect or similar, with a strong hands-on technical foundation.

  • Experience translating business requirements into solution designs, technical specifications and delivery plans.

  • Experience designing secure, scalable and maintainable technology solutions.

  • Strong understanding of integration architecture, including APIs, web services, event-driven approaches or middleware.

  • Experience with cloud-native application or infrastructure design.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.



What you'll do

As a Solutions Architect, you will work with clients and the internal team to understand business needs, shape requirements, design practical technology solutions, and support delivery from concept through to implementation.

This role is not only about technical architecture. It is about listening well, asking the right questions, translating ambiguity into structure, and designing solutions that are aligned to the client’s business objectives.

You will help define how systems, data, integrations, AI capabilities and user experiences come together to solve real problems.

In this role, you may be responsible for:

  • Conducting business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, automation or new capability.

  • Translating business needs into clear requirements, solution designs, technical specifications and implementation plans.

  • Creating solution diagrams, architecture models, data flows and technical documentation.

  • Designing scalable, secure and practical solutions across applications, platforms, integrations, data and AI-enabled systems.

  • Recommending solution options, including build-vs-buy considerations, integration approaches and implementation pathways.

  • Designing or guiding prototypes, pilots and proof-of-concepts to show how a solution could work in practice.

  • Ensuring solutions consider security, privacy, compliance, performance, reliability and long-term maintainability.
