Senior AI Solutions Architect
& Technical Lead

CEADE helps organisations turn complexity into clarity, and ideas into working systems.

Our ethos is inspired by the idea of a seed: every organisation holds unrealised possibilities. We help that possibility grow through strategic thinking, solution architecture, software engineering, business understanding, and the responsible use of AI.

AI matters deeply to what we do, but it is not the whole answer. The real work is understanding the problem, designing the right system, and building technology that can survive real users, real data, real constraints, and real operational risk.

We are not trying to imitate a big-company role. The offer here is different: direct founder access, real autonomy, meaningful technical influence, and the chance to shape how a small, serious technology company builds product and delivers client solutions.

If you want a narrow lane inside a large machine, this probably is not it. If you want high ownership, serious problem-solving, applied AI substance, and room to shape both product and practice, this may be exactly the right kind of stretch.

The role

We need a senior hands-on builder-architect.

Someone who can sit with ambiguity, understand the real problem, design a practical solution, and help build the hard parts. Someone who treats AI as a powerful accelerator, not magic. Someone who cares about sources, permissions, evaluation, tests, reliability, and the human consequences of software.

You will work across SnapInsight and client projects. That may include document intelligence, RAG, Microsoft 365 integrations, reporting workflows, AI-assisted delivery systems, internal tools, and architecture for new applied-AI solutions.

This is not a diagram-only role. It is also not a ticket-only role. It sits in the interesting middle: problem shaping, architecture, technical leadership, and hands-on delivery.

What you will do

  • Turn messy client problems into clear technical options, scoped delivery plans, and working systems.

  • Shape SnapInsight's architecture, product capability, and engineering quality.

  • Design AI workflows that are source-backed, secure, testable, and maintainable.

  • Build prototypes and production features when the work needs senior hands.

  • Help CEADE use AI coding agents and delivery harnesses safely, with review, tests, and evidence.

  • Mentor less experienced engineers without making them dependent on you.

You may love this role if

  • You want more influence than a larger company would usually give you.

  • You want to build real applied AI systems, not just talk about them.

  • You like being close to the founder, the client problem, and the technical decision.

  • You enjoy turning uncertainty into structure.

  • You want to help define how AI-assisted delivery should work properly.

What we are looking for

You are likely strong in several of: .NET, C#, Python, TypeScript, React, Azure, PostgreSQL, Microsoft 365, APIs, integrations, document processing, RAG, LLM orchestration, or applied AI.

You do not need to tick every box. We care more about engineering judgement, learning speed, system thinking, and evidence of having built serious software.

The person we want is:

  • Confident enough to lead, humble enough to revise their view.

  • Curious enough to keep learning, even at senior level.

  • Practical enough to ship, disciplined enough to avoid hand-waving.

  • Comfortable with clients, ambiguity, trade-offs, and written thinking.

  • Excited by AI, but not impressed by demos that cannot survive production.

  • Strong in architecture without drifting away from the work.

This may not suit you if

  • You need every requirement fully resolved before you can begin.

  • You want architecture status without hands-on delivery.

  • You treat AI-generated output as finished work.

  • You prefer a highly defined corporate role with mature process around every decision.

  • You are looking mainly for AI novelty rather than production responsibility.

How we will assess fit

We will use a practical, respectful process: an initial conversation, a structured technical discussion, and likely a short live case workshop or tightly time-boxed work sample.

The work sample will use synthetic material, not client work, and we will not use candidate output commercially. You may use AI tools, but we will ask how you used them, what you trusted, what you verified, and what you would do differently with more time.

We will ask for examples, not buzzwords: how you turned a vague problem into a working system, when evidence changed your technical opinion, how you would make AI output trustworthy, or how you would structure work for an AI coding agent without losing accountability.

The best fit will be technically strong, low-ego, direct, thoughtful, and energised by the chance to help build something substantial before all the patterns are obvious.
